Back door

Here are photos that show the damage to the back door. We don’t know if the cracks were due to the storm but the adjuster wondered. The bottom left that was taped was due to animals and insects getting in and removing part of the inside of the door.

Back Stairs

As we mentioned, the back stairs on the right side are rotting. As you can see, we taped some wood to temporarily brace them until they are repaired. The stairs will need attention/repair.

Basement cleaning

Basement was thoroughly cleaned – dusted, swept and shop vacuumed so that all debris and cobwebs were removed. The cobwebs are likely to quickly return before you visit, so we wanted to capture it while it was clean. Please note that there are 2 furnace filters remaining (first picture) and are sitting to the right of the furnace on the floor.

Dining Room

The dining room chandelier globes were quite dirty. We even took those down and hand washed them as you can see here.

Kitchen

We worked hard to clean the kitchen really clean, including the stove, refrigerator, cabinets and walls.

We even thoroughly cleaned and repainted the kitchen walls. Because there is no vent, cooking grease really accumulates on the walls. You may want to consider getting a vent for the kitchen.

If you haven’t opened and seen the oven in person, as you can see here, we even got the inside of the oven door really clean.

Upstairs Bathroom

A vent would also be really helpful in the upstairs bathroom, because moisture really accumulates and has nowhere to escape. Even though we had 2 curtains in front of the window behind the shower, the moisture caused the paint to peel around the window.

Please let us know if you want any photos or videos of the other maintenance issues/cleaning.
